A one carat round brilliant diamond is set into the center of the piece, framed by a large horizontal oval gold pendant. The bail is an oversized, chunky element that flows from the oval pendant and folds over itself to clip onto a chain. The diamond is set in a platinum bezel, which gives a pop to the size of the diamond, as the eye reads the diamond and bezel as one. The bezel then steps down to attach to the oval pendant, where the piece transitions into yellow gold.

The natural round brilliant diamond is beautiful and clean, with gorgeous sparkle. It is VS1 in clarity, K in color. It measures 6.7 mm across and 3.75 mm deep, for an approximate weight of 1.09 carats.

The pendant is marked as 18CT, and was purchased in England, so this is most likely an English piece. It weighs 7 grams and measures 5/8” x 7/8”. The bail opens and closes, so it can be clipped onto a chain while the chain is already being worn. The clasp is very secure, and closes with a tight click.
