The piece is … Read more Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown red, blue, and aventurine flecks Italian art glass flower vase. The piece is documented to the Fratelli Toso company. I have owned others in the same shape with labels. The vase has a pinched and flared rim, with twisting scroll decoration at one end. It has splashes off red, sky blue and copper aventurine swirling around the vase, over a jet black inner glass layer. The black peeks through the colors making them stand out and creating great contrast. It is profusely covered in copper aventurine that glitters in any light. Would make a great center piece to any dining table, credenza or mantel. Fill it with flowers or display it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Striking piece. Measures: 11 3/4" tall x 8" long x 5" wide.
