Offering a hand-wrought iron pair of French bookends, in excellent condition with decorative hammer marks throughout (hard to see in the photos but easy to see when they're in your hands or, better yet, on your bookshelf).
I've paste waxed the with an ebony-colored wax and they probably look better than when they were made. And... speaking of which, think about the heat and muscle involved in the fabrication of these beauties, not to mention the artistic fashioning of the iron!
Dimensions: about 7 1/2 high, 6 front to back and 6 wide at the widest point (the bases taper).
