This bust is styled after French Neoclassic sculptor ohn Baptist Pigalle titled "La Rieuse" this adoring image of a youthful girl, smiling with head turned evokes a serene image. She is hand sculpted from terra-cotta with detailed face and hair braided adorned with bow. The moderately sized piece is finished in warm orange-peach tones typical of terra-cotta along with a whitewash effect. In great condition with no chips or cracks. If you're a collector of busts or love Neoclassical styles then consider this to be a "keeper" in your home.
