Offered is a divine little hand carved lizard perched on a rock in a heavy piece of soap stone. The vein of the soap stone is a rich honey color on a soft gray/beige/cream, and the artisan of this piece took particular care to carve the lizard details in such a way that the vein matches the curves of the lizard's body. He has a very sweet/charming face, sharp claws, gills, and his tail curls at the end of the rock. We hope the pictures do it justice as it's very special. Can be used as a paper-weight, a book end, or just as a special piece in your home menagerie. Polished to a buttery smooth finish and the base is unpolished.
