These three vintage plates depict quintessential English sites.; The Water Wheel, Groudle Glen, I.O.M., Jesmond Dene, Newcastle-on-Tyne and Glastonbuty Abbey. The detailed scenes are shown in various shades of grey in the center of the nine and an half inch creamy ivory plates. The two inch scalloped rims have rows of tiny raised china dots giving them a sunburst design. The subtle “grays” on cream scenes give a timeless look to these lovely plates. They would be at home with any Anglophile. See less
