Featuring a delightful Mid-Century polyptych of four women in their gardens with pagoda structures and mountains under moonlight in the backdrop. Each figure is unmistakably graceful and clearly in motion, counterpoints to the structured architecture of their backdrops. Strikingly surrounded in black and gold against the carefully hand-crafted details in mother-of pearl medium. Stylized frames and hinged brass fretted hanging hardware punctuate the details of this increasingly difficult to find vintage set of folk art.
These are versatile for enjoyment in many settings but particularly suited to the Art Deco aesthetic.
