Made in mexico, likely towards the end of the 20th century, these striking armchairs were imported to the uk in the 1990s and will add a traditional rustic, yet fabulously regal, bygone colonial aesthetic to any interior.

striking and bold, this reassuringly heavy, large and comfortable pair of carver or throne armchairs are made of solid pine carved into shapely scrolls and showing lovely, detailed carving. They feature super quality tan leather backs and seats, which are secured by large black metal studding for the ultimate throne chair statement.

all in all this is a rare and impressive pair of authentic mexican throne chairs, which are sure to make an impact and will add traditional rustic grandeur to any setting.

condition
these are in good vintage condition. Structurally sound, there are no rips to the leather and they show only minor to-be-expected cosmetic signs of wear and use. Overall they’re a fantastic rare pair and if well looked after they should be just as impressive for generations to come – please see the photos.
