A beautiful “Gemini” rocking chair designed by Walter S. Chenery, manufactured by Lurashell in the United Kingdom around 1960. This very comfortable lounge chair has a wonderful organic shaped design. It is upholstered in high quality mint green fabric with a matching, comfortable cushion all held in a black fiberglass shell. The teak base is made with a wonderful eye for detail and provides a nice, smooth rock. The design is most likely inspired by the Gemini star sign, as there are some resemblances in the shapes. All together this creates an exceptional seating comfort to this beautiful, very inviting piece. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
