These came into fashion in the Georgian period and were mainly used in fraternities like the FreeMasons or the Oddfellows. The cabinet has 6 drawers concealed behind a mahogany panel at the base and votes are cast by dropping a small ball into a funneled hole with “YES” stenciled in yellow or “NO” stenciled in black. The box has a green baize fabric on the base so it won’t scratch any surfaces and the cabinet is in wonderful condition with our only condition notes being minor surface wear and the key is missing. The box measures 22 1/2” wide x 7 3/4” deep x 12” tall. See less
