Little sprigs of painted floral decoration endive the sides. One inkwell has blue ink stains, two stable hairlines, signs of age, and wear, small frits. Ca. late 18th century. Provenance: deaccessioned from the Minneapolis Institute of Art, collection inventory number hand painted on the back. Could be a used as a catchall “dish” or jewelry tray on a dressing table.
