Limited edition "Vernice Molle" art print etching. Matted, not framed. Hand signed by the artist. Mat Size: 25" x 32", Image Size: 15" x 23-1/4". Edition Number: 7/150. Circa 1980s. Bio:
Oliviero Masi was born in 1949 in Busto Arsizio, a small town northwest of Milan, Italy. Over the past decade, Masi has proven himself to be a printmaker of exceptional technical ability and poetic sensibility. Influenced by the peace of the Italian countryside, Masi explores the variable nuances of light and color in the landscape using a sophisticated combination of softground and aquatint etching techniques. The resulting prints are exquisite multi-plate intaglios that have the look and texture of a pastel drawing. Masi prints have been exhibited extensively over the past 15 years in galleries throughout Europe and South America. The artist currently spends his time between Milan and Paris.
