This 6 1/4" tall footed planter by nationally recognized clay artist Chuck Solberg (6 1/2" diameter at the widest point) is in perfect condition. Solberg, known for his work with stoneware and porcelain, creates functional and sculptural pieces by constructing them from separately thrown clay sections that are distorted through paddling. Exposed seams highlight the raw beauty of the clay.
Wood-fired for rich, unique patterns and textures, each piece captures the spontaneity of the firing process. Solberg’s work is held in prestigious collections like the Mobile Fine Art Museum and the Weisman Museum.
Perfect for collectors or as a unique addition to any space.
