In 1972 Veuve Clicquot celebrated its bicentennial with this SALMANAZAR empty display bottle.
The famous bottle with its yellow label "BRUT" holds 9 liters and is the equivalent of 12 bottles. It also should serve 72 glasses of champagne.
These bottles were distributed to wine merchants for advertising. and have become quite rare to collectors.
The bottle is marked "Bicentennaire" 1772-1972.
