Made in the best traditions of the Indian Bidri Work
Bidriware is a metal handicraft developed in the 14th century C.E. The name originates from the township of Bidar in Karnaka, India, which is still the main center of production. The metal traditionally used is white brass - alloy of copper and zinc - that is blackened and inlaid with silver.
The presented here plate is made from damascened iron, thus combining two ancient metalwork techniques
