Pair of Antique Victorian Wild & Adams Large Handled Vases in Green - England
This is a lovely pair of Antique English pottery vases from the late Victorian era. Made by Wild and Adams, they bear the pre-1917 back stamp with the L standing for Longton, the town in which they were made. Vases are in an antique white color with green on the mouths and bases. They feature scenes of ladies sitting under trees, one has a child. The openings are ornate with scalloped edges and molded flourishes as are the bases. Karat gold accents are found throughout with lacy floral and snowflake-like designs on the sides. These are in really nice condition, no damage I could find, some wear to the gold. Vases measure 12" high, 6.5" wide, and 4" deep.
