This eye-catching, substantially-sized, metal tôle beauty’s inspiration comes from the late Regency period. Decorated with beautifully painted gilded-looking stylized fern and acanthus leaf sprays and other leafy foliage motifs on a rich tobacco brown background, the interior and exterior finish of the metal has an intentional textured finish mimicking the look-and-feel of an antique piece. A gilded-looking braided trim on the tray’s lip, on the interior of each side handle and at the base provide an elegant finishing touch to the tray’s nicely done Period look. This beauty was made sometime in the early 2000’s by John-Richard. It measures 22” x 19½” W/D; 4” height when measured from the handled side; 2” height when measured from the center where the tray dips; interior 20” x 18” W/D with same height measurements as stated above; weight 4 lbs. 1 oz. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. John-Richard label is on the underside.
