''hourglass armchair'' icon of the famous designer
american norman cherner (1920-1987).
there are many artist chairs but this vintage one, covered in cowhide, is unique or very rare.
n. Cherner worked at moma in n.y. From 1947-49.
the artist n. Rockwell will represent the chair in his painting ''the work''." this piece has an attribution mark,
