Look at the gorgeous paint decorated gilded chinoiserie scenery on this table. The paintwork is masterfully done. The scenery depicts everyday life in a Chinese village with men fishing for their catch of the day and women chatting gossip, I'm quite sure about the men in the boats. The table features superb Dore' bronze reticulated mounts and an old mildly distressed surface. The table will show minor chips and signs of wear and use but is still absolutely stunning and features a dove-tailed oak drawer and brass trim around the top. Measures 29.25 tall x 21 wide x 16.75 deep. Dates to the 1920s era. See less
