A charming harbour town scene painted in 2023, by British artist Elaine Allender.

This quayside scene has been built up in layers of paper and paint. We see the village houses tumbling down to the quay, the old harbour walls and a couple of boats moored up on the sea. The painting is full of texture, and has some of the charming roughness associated with real harbours.
