A beautiful Edward Wormley for Dunbar famous sheaf of wheat accent table, circa 1960s. Notable mid century design featuring an hourglass oak frame supporting a round pink marble top. Base is in excellent condition for its age and marble top is not original to the base. Marble has a couple of chips on the edge, easily replaceable or beautiful as is.
“Edward Wormley (1907–1995) was a prominent American furniture designer known for his contributions to mid century modern design. Born in Illinois, Wormley studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and later worked as an interior designer for Marshall Field's before joining the Dunbar Furniture Company in 1931.”
