Made in the style of The Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company of Phoenix, this piece contains uranium that casts a gorgeous glow when it is exposed to UV or “black” light (see pics).
The pontil mark is clearly visible on the bottom.
Kids LOVE to see uranium glass “glow” at Halloween—so fill this vase with wrapped or packaged candy, add a cauldron with some dry ice and the illumination of a UV light and watch the excitement in everyone’s face! Sometimes, it is nice to be the “cool” parent or grandparent…! :)
