The Embrace Cuddle Chair, a chair and a half, is part of the wildly popular Embrace collection which is a contemporary homage to the Ours Polaire collection by influential mid-century designer, Jean Royère. Embrace is upholstered to look like a plush toy. Her billowy shape features a curvy and rounded back, with arms that gracefully cascade downward, like two arms enfolding you in a big bear hug. Plus, a memory foam-filled seat means you’ll want to lounge all day long.

To achieve this plushy look, only certain fabrics will work. Fabrics such as boucles, furs or high-pile chenilles are the best to envelope extra fabric that needed to upholster around curves. Any other fabric will not yield a desirable look.
