Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown blue, green, yellow and white Italian art glass pig figurine / sculpture. The piece is documented to the Fratelli Toso company. It has an original "Murano Glass - Made In Italy" blue and silver label. The little piglet has been created in the "a Canne" ribbon technique, with alternating lines in a repeating pattern. The piece has an abstract minimalist shape, with gold leaf on the curly tail. It has a pulled snout, little ears and legs. For accuracy, the bottom of the legs have some chipping, that can be felt with your fingers. Please see all close-up photos. Still displays very well. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Mid-century era. Measurements: 4 1/4" long x 2" wide x 2 3/4" high.
