The artist able to do that is Jerome Abel Seguin, a French artist and artisan that lives and works in Bali, Indonesia and in Sumbawa Island.
The hand-carved wood piece has been sculpted by the French artist first, then by the Ocean waves: all the wood pieces are thrown in the Ocean where they remain for months to become pieces of natural art. The piece has a linear base to give it a perfect stability. It can be useful as unusual side table or side table bed.
The piece presents irregular form and imperfections due to the hand work made by craft tools and for the staying in the water ocean.
