Seems to be a secure fix that holds the top on inspire of missing veneer pieces. Please inspect photos carefully, note the repairs made. It appears to be structurally sound and ready for many more years of service. Obviously the back of this was cut out by a previous owner who used it with a tube television. 7/10 less
