We acquired these unique and rare pair of vintage ceramic bookends from France. Under our estimation they fall in between the Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern periods. They have the feel of both and could be a transitional design. They are an abstract presentation, of an animal of sort; be it a cat or dog or such. Wherever the inspiration might have come from they stand distinct in form and metallic finish.
