Exquisitely made with high quality silvered bronze in a shield design typical of the higher end bronze lighting from e f caldwell with an inverted tulip flowe form equipped with a standard bulb socket and the original bakelite on/off switch. Everything correct on this fine superb quality most unusual wall light always made as a single wall lighting adornment for the very affluent of clients. Note : The white house in Washington D C as well as other historical landmark buildings such as the Vanderbilt mansions were furnished with e f caldwell lighting. See less
