Features high-quality materials, construction, and craftsmanship, exceptionally executed in highly decorative traditional Tuareg peoples styling, featuring a rectangular solid wood chest with hinged lid adorned with elaborate applied arabesque reticulated iron, copper and gilt brass overlay, surmounted by black enamel finial handle. Top opens to reveal a natural wood interior. Estimated circa 1890.
