Meiji Era (1868-1912) illustrator and designer Korin Furuya was one of the most important woodblock print designers of the time. This print features spearheads on an abstract background. The language is Shin-Bijutsukai. This print is archivally matted. There are indentations in the left margin where the woodblock was bound in the 1901-1902 magazine.
This piece is in very good original condition with wear consistent with age and use.
