Original pochoir print from an early 1900s folio of French songs from the 16th and 17th century. Based on illustrations by the French artist Guy Arnoux (1886-1951).
Shown is "Brother Jacques are you sleeping" ("Frere Jacques dormez-vous"). Accompanied by an engraved sheet of the song lyrics. Measures 12"L x 9"H.
Pochoir was a method of hand coloring prints using stencils popular in France in the early 1900s.
This is an original vintage print - not a reproduction. It is in excellent condition with no imperfections. It is carefully packaged in an archival plastic sleeve with backing board, and shipped in a cardboard flat mailer with cardboard insert. Includes a certificate with additional information.
Multiple print purchases are combined into a single shipment which can reduce the total shipping charge.
