The chairs are inspired by the classical motifs of the Louis XVI style. The arms feature elegantly curved scroll terminals and a leaf motif, while the seat rails showcase a gracefully bowed front, intricately carved with a guilloche pattern. The pegged joints are adorned with exquisite rosettes, and the elegantly fluted legs transition seamlessly into toupie feet.

These chairs are solid and comfortable, wide enough to accommodate a gentleman. Unfortunately, the original Aubusson upholstery was not in a condition suitable for preservation. The new fabric is a beautiful linen chenille that complements the gilded wood with a neutral off-white hue. This specially selected REVOLUTION fabric incorporates Crypton technology, making it high-performance and resistant to food stains and dirt on a white surface. Cleaning is simple; just use soap and water or even bleach to keep it looking new. The seats are filled with the original horsehair and springs, which have been reinforced with additional padding for extra comfort. This ensures a firm yet graceful seating experience.
