We also know that Beauvais or Flanders was working mainly for kings or nobles. For dating we have to refer to details like the border , we know that depending centuries they were more large since the 1600 t0 1700 with a more rich and opulent style, also you will find in the border a sun witch no with out reminding the sun king louis XIV so we would date this piece like late 1600 to early 1700 , this piece is a real treasure that can only be an investment on top of been a wonderful piece of art to bring into a design , one of a kind opportunity. Please check our entire collection of tapestries in our Chairish shop at FRENCHTOUCH10 See less
