Antique Scroll Arm Deep Seated Armchair
An Edwardian antique deep seated armchair with scroll top back and arms. It sits on turned feet to the front and casters to the rear. A chair which is designed in the manner of the renowned furniture maker ‘Howard and Sons’ retains its original red floral silk upholstery.
The chair has some good provenance being salvaged from the late Edward, Lord Montagu’s Palace House on the Beaulieu Estate.
Dimensions:
Height: 86.5cm (approx seat height 33.5cm)
Width: 88cm
Foot depth: 78cm)
Origin: Palace House, Beaulieu Estate, UK

Workshop Report: Good structural frame condition. Wear to the original fabric in the usual places. The chair ideally would need reupholstering but could equally be used as it is, springs are in good condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
