This is an original French print that originally appeared in a French humor magazine from the 1920s. Recently purchased. It is a rare image, as the magazine had limited circualtion. The print is original to that date and is NOT a recent reproduction print. It is the first time we have come across this image in all our years of collection. The print features a nude woman gazing into a miror and admiring hersel in her red hat with its black and white draped scarf. She strikes a flirtacious pose and appears pleased with her look. Note her matching red shoes! This image is illustrated and signed by its illustrator, Maurice Pepin (1890-1940) Pepin is best known for his risque, flirtacious images. Today, his works are sold at international art auctions. This image is in pristine antique condition with no indication of its age. Makes great bathroom or foyer wall decor! 8 x 10 inches in size.
