Limited edition lithograph by American artist Stan Taft. Matted, not framed. Hand-signed, titled and numbered by the artist in pencil. Mat Size: 26" x 24". Image Size: 17-1/2" x 16". Edition Number: 117/300. Year: 1979. Condition: Excellent/Near Mint. There is a tiny, faint crease in the green/blue part (see photo above). BIO:
Stan Taft (1945 - )
Stan Taft received a B.F.A. from the California College of Arts and Crafts and an M.F.A. from Fort Wright College. He has taught at SUNY Purchase, the University of Iowa, and in the Cornell University art department since 1985. Solo exhibitions include those at the Josef Gallery in New York City and the Parnas Gallery in Los Angeles. A selection of group exhibitions include Figurative Realism: Narrative Painting at SUNY-Cortland, the Alex Rosenberg Gallery and Styria Gallery in New York City, the Davidson Gallery in Seattle, Convergence Gallery in San Francisco, the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Baltimore, and the American Center for Physics in Washington, DC. Stan is represented by the Harrison Gallery, Williamstown, MA, and Corners Gallery, Ithaca, NY.
