This tin-glazed (faience) terracotta set exemplifies Di Lieto's mastery of bold, vibrant designs, featuring Art Deco-style donkeys on the front and stylized foliage on the reverse. Measuring 5 1/2" tall and fully marked "M. DILIETO, AMALFI, ITALY," this set is in excellent condition, embodying the vivid rural and maritime themes that defined Di Lieto's work during his prolific career from the 1920s to the 1970s.
