Beautiful antique Venetian / Murano hand blown blue, white and gold flecks Italian art glass ballet slipper. The delicate shoe has a soft quilted pattern, with white rim and flower decoration. The white areas have gold leaf placed on top, specially the flower which has a lot of gold over it. Very unusual sculptural piece. Created in the manner of the Venini and Salviati companies. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, dresser or curio cabinet. Art Deco, Mid-century era. Measures: 6 3/4" long x 2" wide x 1 3/4" high.
