Beautiful and unusual, vintage Murano hand blown red, black, sapphire and teal aqua blue Italian art glass flower shaped bowl. The piece has an optic swirl design, with rich alternating colors. The shape of the bowl is that of an open flower, with each corner pulled and folded down like petals. Striking color combination. For accuracy, there is a little clear piece of glass stuck to 1 of the corners, and there are some white sand inclusions towards the middle of the bowl. Please see both the close up photos. Would make a great display piece on any desk or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or ashtray. Mid-century era. Measures 6 1/4" long x 2 1/4" high.
