The chairs are in … Read more This is a fantastic and rare pair of period 1780s era French Louis XV bergere chairs. The chairs are in their original time-worn distressed painted finish revealing numerous layers of colors and old if not entirely original upholstery with goose down filled cushions. The arms are loose and will need to be tightened which is easy enough when reupholstering and is common when shrinkage occurs over 200 plus years. Measures 38.25 tall x 27.5 wide x 28.5 deep and seat height is 17 inches. See less
