Very rare exhibition poster of Famed British artist’s Royal Festival Hall, measuring 20x29”.
Glen Baxter nicknamed Colonel Baxter, is an English draughtsman and artist, noted for his absurdist drawings and an overall effect often resembling literary nonsense. He has exhibited internationally and his work is in the collections of the Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The artist has published numerous books, including Almost Completely Baxter, New and Selected Blurtings in 2016 and Ominous Stains in 2009, and has also appeared in such publications as The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Elle, and Vogue.
This vintage poster is in an original turquoise metal frames with glass front.
