This is a unique late mid-century acrylic sculpture. This sculpture was designed by Pierre Giraudon, an artist known for suspending items in acrylic and lucite.
The lightbulb is filled with a phosphorescent substance and is suspended in a lucite cube. In normal light it is a unique piece of art but in the dark it has a surprising flourescent glow.
It is in very good vintage condition consistent with age and use.
