An amazing solid walnut oval gateleg dining table from 19th century France. The beautiful walnut has an honest repair found in the top which gives the table a unique and one of a kind presence. These repairs not only create points of interest within antique, but also extend the life of the item, ensuring it can be passed down for generations to come. The top’s wide center section was made from a single plank. The leaves have some slight warping present, however the table is flat enough and comfortable to use for dining. Two gate legs swing out from the apron to support the drop leaves; the legs are linear and tapered, capped in brass feet equipped with casters.
