The chrome has scuffs, marks, blemishes, and slight scratches throughout. Overall, the metal chrome is in good condition. The vinyl seats need to be reupholstered. There are rips and the foam is starting to deteriorate. This would be an easy upholstery job for an expert upholster. Overall, the chairs sit quite sturdy and are very heavy and well-made.
