An original abstract painting, executed in oil onto cradled panel.

The painting depicts a landscape theme and explores the concepts of art and architecture. Flat planes in a variety of contrasting colours are arranged together, some intersecting and overlaying, creating an illusion of depth and perspective. These colours are rich and vivid, creating a bright and playful energy. Although smooth and matte in its finish, the artist has included areas where we are able to see the application and texturing of the paint. Juxtaposing the hard angled lines, is a row of scalloping that adds a wonderful detail and draws our eye in.

This oil on cradled panel is ready to hang and does not require a frame. It is in excellent condition.
