His work is highly collectible but appears in the market … Read more Angelo Garzio (1922 - 2008) was an Italian-American ceramics artist. His work is highly collectible but appears in the market in small quantities. At the time of his passing, he was professor emeritus at Kansas State University. His work has appeared in collections at the Smithsonian American Art Musuem and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City. The piece is roughly 6.5" tall and about 8.5" across. It has a moderate shine on the body with a matte effect on the lid. There are no noticeable cracks or chips. It features a central medallion which is found on several of his other pieces. We acquired the pot at an auction on the east coast. See less
