Pair of Antique Teak Lounge Chairs + Black Cushions. c. 1940's.
What a unique set! Carved teak wood base with interior carved detail. Back slats and spring-wire seat base. This pair has been together for their entire life, from lobbies in Sarasota to Marine Yachts on the sweet gulf coast. Few repairs and condition notes, be sure to see all photos, closeups and notations. Original owner since mid 1900s.
This set can be disassembled for easy storing and moving. No makers mark found. In the style of the "Esperanto" series for Drexel.

- Good Vintage Condition. This pair shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. Minor wear marks and light surface … moreGood Vintage Condition. This pair shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. Minor wear marks and light surface scratches may be visible, no major chips or nicks. Few small abrasions and minor punctures in the upholstered cushions. See photos and close ups for reference. Some cushions have more texture to their motif. These could be easily reupholstered as they zipper over the cushion. The frame has been restored by sanding throughout with a light lacquer finish to preserve the teak and bring this set back to life. Some minor cracks at the frame. Be sure to see all closeups. All of our pieces are used and/or vintage pieces that have wear consistent with age. Each are rare, sometimes one-of-a kind that are found and hand-picked.
