Anglo Indian shawl textile handwoven in wool, natural dying colors, with jacquard hand loom.
Head bordures with niches inspired by the Anglo Indian Kashmiri decorations showing all the colors used for overall pattern.

Condition: Some small holes damages in the center, cuts but still look great.
This Paisley Shawl is in fair condition, unwashed, with no fading, has few pin holes, when held up to light of a window and has numerous holes and tears. Some holes were already stitched.
Some of the colored fringes are missing on its two sides.
This elegant 1860's paisley shawl breathes with vibrance of old colors.
