Antique German Porcelain KPM Berlin Handpainted Double Salt with Cherub.
This beautiful open salt was made in the 19th Century in typical rococo style. The interior of the salt basin and the stand is delicately painted with birds, flowers and insects. In the center on top stands a figure of an gesticulating cherub.
Delicate gilt gold accents highlight this truly exquisite piece of art.
MARKED: On the underside with KPM scepter mark.
Condition: Good. 2 minor gilt touch ups on the rim.
