The faces are particularly expressive, as if captured in the moment. Each mask is very different. The surface treatment is original, fine but revealing the work of wood, chisels and gouge. The wood is raw, not waxed, we varnished. It is an exceptional, striking ensemble with an exceptional presence. The masks are old and come from Italy.
